I'm currently going to a student/singles ward and we all went to the Manti Pageant this past weekend. At first I was pretty hesitant because I didn't really know a lot of people in my ward...which is mostly my fault. I'm the type of person that just enjoys to go to church to learn & for some reason socializing wasn't really a top priority. Well I decided that I needed to become more active in my ward & it was high time I start meeting all the lovely people in my ward. Well then this activity came so i thought "PERFECT!" My dear friend, Loren, came with me & we had such a blast. Below is a picture of a group of people I met within my ward & they are all so great!
So side-note: the boy in the middle that is holding the "chuck norris can cry" sign decided that it'd be smart to hold this sign next to all the protesters. um....ya I don't think he was very successful.

The ULTIMATE challenge

It doesn't start with something like this...oh no.
It includes:
1 lb hamburger, 1 lb of cheese fries & an ice cream sundae
WITHOUT
leaving the restraunt OR throwing up

You may look like this....
(even though he really just at a mar-chino cherry)

Or you could look at your fries like this
& think, "why am I doing this to my body?"

Or you could be like us & give support to those
that are dying.

Without a doubt, he looks WAY too happy for
just finishing approx. a 3 lb. meal.
I sure love ya, Seiya!

We're almost done, too!
(note: I just had a regular meal)

He officially looks like he is dying.
He only had 4 fries left.

And WA-LA they did it!!! 4-5 succeeded.

Please Watch this Video!!!
Beau & Skyler are having a fundraising activity at their school for the organization called Invisible Children. It has to deal with the war that is happening over in Uganda and the army that Joseph Kony is every so slowly recruiting. He is a very evil man and as you watch the video you will understand why. Because of him, thousands of innocent children have lost their lives. My parents & I watched this video & after watching it I wanted to go out & do something. I also realized how truly lucky I am to have the freedoms I have, to have the amazing family that I do have, to get an education & the list could go on & on. Now I know some people may say that their problem, over in Uganda, isn't our problem but gee wiz we have the resources to help them & give them assistance. They want our help and are reaching out to us. I encourage you all to watch the video, spread the internet side to anyone & everyone you know & help donate to this amazing cause. Please, please watch this video. I feel SO strongly that we need to help these children!
http://www.invisiblechildren.com/ - click "view the site", then click on "watch the movie". Its about 30 minutes long & it buffers every once in a while but its SO worth it to watch the whole thing!

President's Day
Skyler joined the swim team this year. It was a lot of fun to watch him and see him improve throughout the season. Hopefully he'll stick with it and continue to do it throughout high school. However, he may be trying out the the high school basketball team again this year. Time will only tell.
This is Beau with a few of his teammates
This was taken at the state swim competition. Beau and a few other members of the swim team were able to go swim in state. I believe Beau swam in a few relays and then a 200 m., but I'm not very savy in swim jargon so I may be wrong. However I do know that him and his relay team broke 2 school records. They were all very excited about that.
For President's Day my family, the Stewarts, the Jones's and Grandpa & Grandma Jones went up to this ranch and we were able to see Elk.
The tour guide passed around a few items that come from Elk. Amanda is holding a part of an antler and I'm blowing into uh....well I'm not quite sure.
Eric pointing at the dear ol' Elk. Can you tell that it was a sunny day that day?
"Look more elk!"
the bobcat made Beau mad. Watch out!
Ah, the fur of the bear is attacking Beau! Watch out!
Skyler found himself a cute coyote fur hat. Precious!
"Look there's elk!"
"I see it! I see it!"
"Hey Aunt Bonnie, will you shake my hand?"
He looks like the dog off of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"!
"Everyone, act like an elk!"
